1) The Father is God, Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and there is only one God.

(The Holy Spirit is discussed later.)

One God / no other God
The LORD speaking to Moses as the "I AM"

(“I AM” is the name God told Moses and future generations to call Him.)

Passages describing people “seeing” God / God’s glory
Jesus (the Word / the Son) described as God

2) God the Trinity created all things and holds all things together so we can exist.

(Regarding “firstborn over all creation”: in John 1:3 and Colossians 1:16, Jesus created all things, so this is understood as Christ having rights/privileges over creation, not that He was created. In the old testament context, the first-born son had certain rights and privileges as the first-born son.)

Genesis creation

(The Spirit of God is present in Genesis 1:2. Genesis 1:26 uses “let us make” (plural). In vs 26, God is providing a will and asking the others to be involved in the creation. The Father typically provides the will and Jesus and the Holy Spirit follow His will.)

A few passages showing Father / Son / Holy Spirit together

3) Jesus is in the Father and the Father was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Jesus.

One note on the Trinity: you cannot speak to just one person of the Trinity, because the Father is in Jesus, Jesus is in the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the Father’s Spirit and Jesus’s Spirit.

(The end-times order and the Son being made subject to the Father:)

4) The Trinity knows all things and works together in perfect unity, although for the exact time of the rapture, only the Father knows.

In Genesis chapter 1, the trinity can be seen working together in perfect unity in creating the heavens and the earth.
The unity and teamwork of the Trinity is seen in the Father sent His Son whom He loves to die for our sins. Jesus who loves the Father and always does His will, did come down to earth and died for believers sins. The Holy Spirit (God's Spirit) who always does the will of the the Father was sent to earth to indwell believers which He has been doing. The Father has given Jesus the authority to Judge all humans. The Father's will is that all who believe in His Son will be forgiven their sins and they will be raised to eternal life with God. Jesus will apply the Father's will when He judges all humanity.

Examples of foreknowledge around Jesus’ ministry and crucifixion, including Judas’ betrayal, Peter’s denial, and Jesus facing the cross.

5) The Father is noted as speaking directly to humans a few times.

6) Two of Jesus’ roles are to speak directly to humans and to be the judge of all humanity.

In John 8:58 Jesus identifies Himself with “I AM” from Exodus.
Examples where the LORD (Jesus) speaks directly with humans and issues judgment or direction:

Adam & Eve
Abraham (Sodom & Gomorrah context)
Joshua

7) God’s Spirit is the Holy Spirit, who is the Father’s Spirit, and the Son’s Spirit.

When a believer receives the gift of the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus, the Spirit of God dwells in the believer (one Spirit, not three). The Scripture uses terms like “the Spirit of God” or “my Spirit”. These are just other names for the Holy Spirit.

(John 16:7 implies a limitation in the Holy Spirit’s sending depending on whether Jesus is physically present on earth or with the Father in heaven.)

Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit which Jesus communicates to believers through
Spirit knowing the deep things of God

8) The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to believers, and He does many good things.

The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to believers and He does things such as seals, sanctifies, intercedes, and transforms believers to be more Christ-like so they can bear godly fruit.
